Vegas Sidekick keeps it straight. Some links on this site earn us a commission. Your price stays the same either way. We're going to tell you exactly how it works — because that's what a real sidekick does.
HOW WE MAKE MONEY
Vegas Sidekick is a free resource. We don't charge admission, require a membership, or run subscription paywalls. Instead, we earn a commission when you click a link on this site and purchase a ticket.
When you buy a ticket through one of our links, our ticketing partner pays us a referral commission at no additional cost to you. The price you see on our site is the price you pay — no markup, no "convenience" fee tacked on at checkout.
Affiliate links are clearly embedded in our show pages, typically in booking buttons and ticket CTAs. This disclosure page, along with a notice on each show page, constitutes our FTC-required disclosure. If you have any questions about which links are affiliate links, assume all booking links are — because on Vegas Sidekick, they are.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Nothing changes on your end. The ticket prices you see on Vegas Sidekick reflect real prices available through our ticketing partners — the same prices you'd find going directly to their platforms. Our affiliate relationships don't inflate what you pay.
Honest pricing is the whole point of Vegas Sidekick: no hidden service fees layered in at checkout, no "convenience charge" that appears out of nowhere when you're trying to finalize a purchase. We vet our partners against that standard. If a partner doesn't hold up, they don't stay a partner.
OUR EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
Our show recommendations are editorial — meaning no show, venue, or production company pays to be featured on Vegas Sidekick. Nobody buys a write-up. Nobody buys a "⭐ Sidekick Pick" badge.
Every show on this site was added because we believe it's worth your night. Shows we don't recommend don't get listed. That's not a PR line — it's how we protect the only thing that makes this site useful: your trust in what Spike actually thinks.
If that ever changes — if a show ever pays for editorial placement — we will say so explicitly, directly, and on the relevant page. No buried asterisks, no vague language. We'll tell you.
FTC COMPLIANCE
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), which require that material connections between endorsers and the brands or products they recommend be clearly disclosed.
Our material connection to our ticketing partners is a standard affiliate commission arrangement. We receive compensation when a qualifying purchase is made through our referral links.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Vegas Sidekick may occasionally link to third-party websites — show websites, venue pages, or news coverage — that are not affiliate links and generate no commission for us. These are included purely because they're useful. We don't endorse the content, products, or services of any third-party site and are not responsible for their content.
