Michael Jackson ONE has been running at Mandalay Bay since 2013 — and it has never stopped being one of the best shows in Las Vegas. Cirque du Soleil built this production from scratch using Michael's original recordings, his movement vocabulary, and the emotional weight of his catalog. The result is something you don't get anywhere else on the Strip.
The show follows four misfit characters pulled into Michael's world across 90 minutes of acrobatics, dance, and production design that's technically unlike anything else in town. There are 587 lighting fixtures. 26 video mapping projectors. A custom-built theatre with 360-degree staging so the action surrounds you rather than just playing out in front of you.
What you won't see: a performer dressed as Michael trying to be Michael. Cirque made a deliberate choice — use his voice, use his music, let 63 performers embody his energy rather than impersonate him. It's a smarter move. The show has more emotional range than a typical tribute, and it doesn't age the way a lookalike act does.
